歌詞分享《The Princess and the Dragon》
《The Napping House》
dreaming、dozing、snoozing、slumbering,
《The Napping House》最能凸顯 Audrey Wood
《The Princess and the Dragon》
歡樂連連的第一名故事,《The Princess and the Dragon》
Dragon Song & Talk
KIDS: *Yay, yay*
WOMAN: What a racket! What a mess!
KIDS: Isn't it wonderful?
WOMAN: I have such a headache.
KIDS: That's because you're not used to having
fun.
WOMAN: Well, there are other ways to have fun
besides making a lot of noise.
KIDS: Impossible! What's the fun if you have to
behave?
WOMAN: If you learn to behave
To behave the way you should
You can do the things that you ought to
do
And still be someone special.
KIDS: I don't want to behave
Or be very, very good.
WOMAN: Why not?
KIDS: 'Cause I want to stay just the way I am
And I'll have much more fun.
WOMAN: Well it's all up to you
You can choose what you must do
If you mind your manners, come when
called
You'll make others happy too
When you let others do
The things they want to do
You can have your way almost every day
It's amazing but it's true.
KIDS: Ahh, who told you that? That's nonsense!
WOMAN: Not at all! There are other ways to have
fun and still be yourself. Don’t you
understand?
KIDS: If I want to behave
To behave the way I'm told
Can I stay the way that I want to be
And still be someone special?
WOMAN: If you learn to behave
To behave the way you should
You can do the things that you ought
to do
And still have lots of fun.
KIDS: Then it's all up to me
Up to me to make it so
WOMAN: That's right.
KIDS: If I am polite, don't start a fight
There's so much further I can go.
WOMAN: When you let others do
The things they want to do
You can have your way almost every day
It's amazing but it's true.
KIDS: If I really want to be my loud special self,
I'll never leave the cave.
WOMAN: Oh really? I couldn't think of anything
more boring.
If you yearn to be brave
Like a tiger in the night
When you hunt for food just remember
to
Keep your mouth closed while you're
chewing.
KIDS: I will try to behave
And be very, very good
But I'll stay the way that I want to be
And still have lots of fun.
WOMAN: Well that's all up to you
You can choose what you must do
If you mind your manners, come when
called
You'll make others happy too
If we want to have fun
KIDS: And pretend we're big and bold
WOMAN: We can rant and rave
KIDS: In our special cave
BOTH: And still do what we're told.
BOTH: *Yay, yay*
